This booklet, which was produced with the help of three major contractors, effectively promotes the new town developments as a place to live, work, and set up factories, etc. There are excellent pictures of the new housing estates and shopping centres. The pictures of the new factories are of historic interest as most have now been demolished and redeveloped. This is of particular interest to me because my wife and I lived in Hemel Hempstead (although not on a new estate) between 1962 and 1964.
