THE COSTLY CONTENTS OF THE MANSION, comprising the FURNITURE (principally supplied by Messrs. Gillow, Morant, and Holland), of 21 bed chambers and dressing rooms, in Spanish mahogany, four-post, iron, and other bedsteads, with damask and chintz hangings, down and goose feather beds, fine Witney blankets, Marseilles quilts and counterpanes, Spanish mahogany winged and other wardrobes, with plate glass doors, Spanish mahogany chests of drawers, dressing tables and glasses, Brussels, Kidderminster, and other carpets and rugs, fenders, and fireirons.

In the Drawing Room

Sets of chintz curtains, a suite of white and gold in chairs, sofas and settees, covered in green silk and chintz, loo, sofa, and occasional tables, in marqueterie, tortoiseshell and buhl, velvet pile carpet and rug, chimney and console glasses, in richly ornamented gilt frames, on statuary and gilt stands.

In the Dining Room

A noble 9ft. 6in. oak sideboard, a set of 12 oak chairs, covered in morocco, mahogany dining tables, wagonnette, easy chairs, in morocco, Turkey carpet and rug.

In the Library

An elegant satinwood library table, with internal fittings, occasional and card tables, sets of easy and other chairs, three couches, 12-st. billard table, balls and cue, and a Turkey carpet.

1000 Vols. of Books

Including Clutterbuck's Hertfordshire, 2 vols.; Roberts's Sketches in the Holy Land, large size, bound; Rees's Cyclopedia, 45 vols.; Froissart's Chronicles, 12 vols.

In the entrance hall, a bronzed model, hat and umbrella stand, hall chairs, tables, &c.

A large quantity of china and cut glass, kitchen and culinary articles, ice machine, two ice chests, the housekeeper's and butler's apartments, servants' hall, and the complete fittings of the laundry.

The out-door effects include a very large quantity of harness, by Whippy, of London, in saddles, bridles, and horse clothing, two covered pony sets, stable requisites, a Family Break in excellent preservation, by Stamper, a Double-seated Brougham, by Wyburn, A Double-bodied Phaeton, by Parker, and numerous items.
