Radlett

Radlett was formed out of part of the parish of Aldenham in 1865

The first unambiguous reference to Radlett is as Radelett in 1453, but it may be much older. It is at an old cross roads on the Roman Watling Street and could be derived from the Old English for a road junction. [The Place Names of Hertfordshire]
