Due to other commitments I was only able to give a quick reply to this query - so if you can add anything tell me and I will pass the information on and also add it to this page.

Laura Wilson wrote: I am looking for information on George Anthony and his wife Judith. There children were born in Sandon, Hertfordshire. However, other than their daughter, Judith, I am not sure what happens to the other children. I also have not been able to locate a marriage record for George & Judith or locate their birth/death records.

Children from this marriage include: Anthony (1695-), Judith (1697-1765, m. John Wilson), Anthony (1699-), Jane (1702-), William (1704-), Alice (1706-), Rose (1710-)

You don't say what sources you have checked - but here are some you might have missed.

The Findmypast web site definitely has some Sandon "Anthony" burials so I assume you haven't checked there. They have a good coverage of Hertfordshire registers.

Have you checked the Name index on the Hertfordshire Archives and Library Service (HALS)?  If the marriage is not recorded there it is possible that there is no surviving record, as the index is very good.

The Hertfordshire Wills index includes George Anthony, junior, tailor, of Sandon dated 1752. There an earlier will inventory for George Anthony, yeoman, of nearby Kelshall, dated 1704, who might be the father of your George. Check these out with HALS who will be happy to sell you copies.

There are other unindexed records HALS holds which will require a personal visit (or the employment of a professional genealogist). The most likely to be relevant is the Sandon Manor court books and related documents (Ref NRA331) - which could record information about when George became an manorial tenant, and possibly the relatives involved before and after he was a tenant.  If you do this yourself you will need to be good at reading the archaic handwriting.

Finally the Sandon Marriage baptism register only starts in 1797 and while the bishops transcripts start early most are incomplete because of the civil war - so this may cause you some difficulty.

If you can add to the information given above tell me.
