Testator: Kimich, Joseph Court of Probate and Supreme Court of Judicature, High Court of Justice, Probate, Divorce and Admiralty Division: Principal Probate Registry: Contentious Probate Case Files and Papers Date: 1916.

When someone dies leaving a will the name executor applies for probate, to allow them to administer the will. In some cases this is not possible and a different executor has to be appointed to the task.

In this case Isobel Kimich failed to apply for probate, and when she went bankrupt it was found she had not kept separate accounts for her own and her husband's estates. This letter is an application by the accountant handling the bankruptcy   to allow him to administer the estate.
