Some of you will have seen this picture before. It was taken by George Albert Nichols, who was then based in Hitchin, probably in the late 1870s. I assumed that the school was somewhere near Hitchin and used it as part of the 2013 Christmas Competition to see if anyone could identify it. |

| This picture shows the same school, on a post card produced by the Alpha Trading Company, St Albans in about 1905 and a note on the back suggested it must be before 1906 when an extension was built. |
