A very faded picture of soldiers (Royal Field Artillery cap badges) line dup for Church Parade on the High Street outside Abbots Langley Church, and probably taken from an upstairs room of the Kings Head Public House

Other very faded but restorable photographs by Calvert from the First World War period are known, such as this picture in the school garden, and one of soldiers with a horse & cart. A faded picture of a fishmonger may also be by him.

I have not yet identified Calvert, but George Edward Calvert (47, private means) and Alfred Thomas Calvert (27, private means) were living with Gibbs relatives in Abbots Langley in 1911.
