The distinctive graves, of William Reynolds of La Hogue Hall Farm, five of his children, and two great grandchildren.

They are of particular interest because between them they display a variety of different grave stone types from the early 19th century.

On the North side of the church the following alter tomb can be found:-

 

Lewis Kent ()

of La Hogue Hall

Augusta Kent nee Palmer ()

(and eight children)

When Philip Reynolds died the next tenant of La Hogue Hall was Lewis Kent, whose wife, Augusta (nee Palmer) was the niece of Sarah (nee Evered), the wife of Philip Reynolds. Augusta died in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, in an area where some of Lewis Kent's relatives lived - and there were subsequent links with the Reynolds family.
